Nutrition Screenings and Education Programs

Nutrition screenings and counseling help to identify both health and social factors that can impact a person's nutritional status. A registered dietitian provides screenings and counseling at the seven Senior Sites in Washington County and individual home visits can also be arranged. Nutrition education provides structured programs to address nutritional concerns of senior program participants. These programs are listed in each Senior Site's monthly calendar. Nutrition education is provided to home delivered meal participants through reading material sent along with their meals.
